When it was founded in 1950, the Baltimore Ethical Society was the first racially integrated religious congregation in Baltimore. We affirm the worth, dignity, and uniqueness of each individual. We welcome people from diverse racial and ethnic groups as well as gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. We believe in the full equality of both sexes. We take pleasure in serving all ages. Everyone is welcome to join our activities and our caring ethics-centered community.
Our rat race culture pits people against each other in a competition to get as much money, materials, and power as possible.
