When it was founded in 1950, the Baltimore Ethical Society was the first racially integrated religious congregation in Baltimore. We affirm the worth, dignity, and uniqueness of each individual. We welcome people from diverse racial and ethnic groups as well as gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. We believe in the full equality of both sexes. We take pleasure in serving all ages. Everyone is welcome to join our activities and our caring ethics-centered community.
Monica Yorkman will be sharing ways in which colonialism, white supremacy, misogyny, trans-misogyny, and other forms of unethical behaviors impact and inform unhealthy self-views of transgender women of color.
