[BES Friends] SNOWED IN ... SNOWED OUT

Some of us may be snowed in, or just find it too difficult or dangerous to be out and about Sunday morning, so the BES program for January 23 is officially snowed out.

We will try to reschedule the speaker, Ralph Campbell, for one of our open dates in the spring.

Hope to see you all on Jan. 30 when our speaker will be Fahima Vorgetts, Director of the Afghan Women's Fund of Women for Afghan Women.  Ms. Vorgetts will discuss the current situation in Afghanistan and her efforts to raise awareness about the plight of women and children there.  

Also on Jan. 30, there will be a poetry corner at 9:30am, and a newcomer's meeting at 12:30pm.  A newcomer's meeting provides opportunity for you to learn more about the Baltimore Ethical Society and the ethical culture movement.  We invite your attendance and questions.
