[BES Friends] [Fwd: BES Katrina Fund]

The Board is encouraging BES members and friends who would like to contribute 
to agencies engaged in Katrina relief to write a check to the Baltimore 
Ethical Society indicating on the memo line that the money is intended 
for the Katrina Fund.  By doing so, you can make a contribution while 
simultaneously supporting BES involvement.   The Society will collect 
the money for approximately 10 days, and then based on board research 
and discussion, we'll contribute the entire amount to America's 2nd 
Harvest and/or the Baltimore City program to house Katrina refugees. 
We'll publish the results of this effort in "BESpeak."
