[BES Friends] Talk on October 7

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month, and that means I'll be at the lectern. My talk is called COMPASSION: THE HEART OF THE GOOD LIFE, and it's a revised and updated version of a very popular talk I gave in our Calvert Street home in 2001.  Through the years I've shed many of my earlier religious and ethical beliefs, but compassion remains at the heart of my understanding of the good life.
