[BES Friends] Please contact senators on the energy bill

Hello all -

The Senate is poised to vote on the energy bill again this Thursday.  Please
if you have a minute check out your Senators (go ahead an email them both)
contact me form on their website.  You can find them through
www.senate.gov- there's a link to every Senator's page.

Please state in your note that you support the version of the energy bill
passed in the House last week.  The House bill was H.R. 6. Also ask your
Senators to encourage members to show up and vote, and to support keeping
the tax provisions and renewable energy standard IN the final bill.

The important things to note in an email are: (1) please vote for 
cloture (2) please encourage other Senators to vote for cloture (3) 
please advocate to keep the renewable portfolio standard and repeal of 
subsidies to the oil and gas industry in the Senate bill.
