A Fritz Williams Platform “ETHICS and ECONOMICS”

We have been taking it for granted in this country that technological
innovation, economic growth, and expanding markets hold the key to
improving the lives of people everywhere. But we are learning that this
is not necessarily the case, and there are ominous signs that we are
stretching the limits of our finite planet to the breaking point. Fritz
Williams talks about the collision between human needs and aspirations
and economic realities, between market-based economics and ethics, and
he searches for more humane and sustainable images of the good life.

Fritz Williams serves as primary speaker, teacher, pastor, and
organizational leader of BES. Fritz also performs weddings and
commitment ceremonies. He has worked as a parish priest in the
Episcopal church, and as a writer and producer at public TV stations in
Harrisburg, PA, and Detroit, MI.
